jevfetch 是给 Claude Code、Codex 这类编码 Agent 用的网页读取工具，可以理解为 WebFetch 的替代品：它把网页切成若干块，用 TypeSafe 的判断模型 Jev 筛出真正回答问题的段落，连同标题路径原样返回给 Agent，而不是像 WebFetch 那样让小模型转述大意。这样既省上下文又保留原文，方便 Agent 直接引用。官方在 30 个文档问答上测试，相比 WebFetch 让 Agent 耗时减少约 47%，成本基本持平，且几乎不牺牲答案准确率；在 Exa 的编程问答集上，137 题全部答对。它适合经常让 Agent 查长文档、长网页找具体事实的开发者，比如查某个 API 参数的确切行为、某段配置的准确写法——这类场景下转述容易失真，逐字引用才可靠。如果你平时不用编码 Agent 读网页，这个项目和你关系不大。
